I dowloaded my gps track from the race at Exe the other day. It is fair to say it wasn't your typical Moth race. The main channel is less than 100m wide, making for quite a few tacks and gybes with the breeze from the North East. Add to that the light winds under the new marina development at the home buoy, and a fair bit of tide, it is pretty good practice. For the three lap 45 min race I did 26 gybes and 37 tacks. That is easily more than the entire Worlds....
